Joy — Carol's Adventures in Textile Art and Gardening

I have long been a fan of commercial photographer Steve McCurry. I have, with permission, recreated some of his portraits in thread and I have learnt so much just from observing the focus and effects he creates in his photography. It is often the everyday that evokes the emotional connection we can all share, even though the cultures and places may be far apart. Every once in a while I receive a post from his studio on a theme. The Latest was on hands. I thought maybe I could create a page on a theme from my own photographic stash. This theme is JOY
