Soft Sculpture in White on White

This white-on-white soft sculpture is another from Tin Marais, Take Two Art course. Tina uses a lot of neutrals so that the shadow play of the texture is brought into relief. This piece again uses the gathering on the bias technique, but I have added some fabric flowers made on a milk bottle top with petals made from the prairie point technique which was also part of this course.

The flowers were inspired by the flowers on the persimmon tree as shown below and the beading in the centre added for extra texture and detail. The background for this piece is white linen
