Tree Spirits

I love to create from natural inspiration and finding pieces of driftwood at Mokau inspired me to create these wood spirits. I have made the face from air dry clay and then painted it to match the colour of the driftwood. It shrunk quite a bit so I had to mix a slurry and reapply it around the edges. They still need to be touched up around the edges and hair added.
