Sunlight Poring Through the aperture At Newgate

I have finished the stitching of my representational Winter Solstice at Newgate with a shell representing the aperture and various colours of long and short stitch representing the sunshine coming into the chamber. I have overstitched these threads with gold metallic to give more bling. Now I will work on the rock pillars to create a sense of light striking the edges of the pillar and then using mesh and quilting try to emulate a more 3D effect
