Back to the future

About three years ago I started a white on white crazy quilt with a woman who had been influential in my life as a photographic image in the centre of the square. I had done a few squares and then became discouraged because I misplaced two to the original ones - my Mum and my sister who died of cancer. I was looking for something else and came across the rest of them in a box so I have decided to carry on and stitch the rest of the squares and redo the lost ones. Here is the next one I will work on. It has the crazy piecing around the photo done and now I will embellish and hand stitch around that. This phot is of Bev Archibald who became my mentor, supporting me back into the workforce and a second career after being out of the workforce for 15 years raising children and helping on the family farm. I wonder how different my life would have been without this lady's support
