Trying to transfer the process to cotton

These forest tulip leaves were printed on cotton that had been tannin treated and mordanted with aluminium sulphate. It was a much longer processing time 12 minutes and I probably should have rewet the felts as the top felt was munted at the end but the colours are interesting. The leaves were placed underside down after dipping them on a ferrous sulphate stamp pad. I think the fabric needs to be dryer and maybe the leaves need to be dipped in ferrous sulphate to get a more consistent print
