More eco dying documentation

So my journal charting the changes in plant prints is growing. Cotinus is one of those plants that never disappoints. The leaves have printed quite purple in this experiment. I am going to try and seal my bundles in tinfoil as I think I am introducing too much moisture into the fabric during the steaming process.
It is typical wet springtime weather here at the moment and the garden is looking fresh and lovely. But not the sort of weather I would have chosen to host a group of 11 ladies from a local garden group to come round the garden. We had lunch in my studio and I talked about my inspiration and art work because it was too wet to do a quilts in the garden ramble which is what i usually provide when groups come to the garden.
