On Goes the Gel

I don't square up my teabag squares until after they have dried. It is always a bit scary applying the medium because it looks like translucent white paint over the images but it does dry clear. In this case I am using modge podge for tissue. When this is dry the little penguins look dark, glossy black and the teabags resume their mottled patina. I use a flat relatively large (about 2 inch) brush to apply the gel. You can still see the brush strokes in this picture but they aren't visible in the dried version
