Back to eco Print Experiments

Still working with the tannin dipped fabric misty fused onto watercolour paper. I love the shapes or the maple leaves in eco printing. These ones are off two different Japanese maples and I just did a simple diagonal set up with the more solid leaves at one corner and the lacy ones at the other. I placed some green silk organza over the top to see if it would act as a carrier. And then I bundled it (in the group) using a pool noodle. That was not a good idea. The pool noodle shrank with the steam heat so I am not sure if I would have got better prints using a more conventional rod. As you will see, however, the prints were still acceptable
