The Eco Sampler Quilt is finally bound and finished

This quilt was made from a heap of eco dyed samples that I had played around with. I sort of broke a lot of the rules in that some samples are cotton, some are silk and some are linen. As well as the defined leaf prints there are also a few resist outlines in there. I enhanced the prints with some hand stitch and some bead work and then joined the samples together. I decided to use a close random (ie not straight) horizontal stitching for the quilting so that it had a ripple effect and the leaves sort of look like they are floating on the surface. All in all I am quite satisfied with with result. Just as well as it has been in various stages of progress for about a year.
