Exploring the Difference Between Opaque and Translucent Acrylics

This was a reject print from playing with gyotaku but I came cross it in my pre-Christmas tidy up of the studio. I have been experimenting a bit with the different effects of opaque and translucent acrylics. When applied they look almost the same but when they dry the translucent acrylics are sort of see through. This print was done on a piece of fabric that had been printed using the breakdown screen printing method. It is untouched and you can see the opaque black paint and the translucent white paint with the background print showing through. I think I might put this in my sketchbook with some notes. My sketchbooks are not works of art but more a record of processes tried and I think this piece comes in that category
