Along the back of our section we have a dry stone wall with a row of buxu planted on top. Last Spring part of it collapsed and I had to rebuild it. I replanted the buxus but with the drought last summer some of the plants didnt make it so I thought I would make the most of the fine fresh day to pull out the dead one and replace them with some I had growing in pots. It will take a couple of years for them to fill in so they look like a hedge but at least they should get started before any summer dry. At any rate it looks better with live plants with a bit of a gap than dead ones.
