And the Fabric Result

The daylily petals gave a clearblue print. I think the lavender hue on the background probably came from the smoke tree leaves. They have lost the intense blue they had in the spring and are now more a smoky lilac grey. The bright yellow bursts are the Hammet dahlia flower and coreopsis and the red maple leaves acted as a resist in this instance so the leaves are white with an iron dark border. The cherry leaves - I purposely selected the more mature ones have changed from the Spring yellow to golden brown and even the green maple leaves have become more golden in their prints. I think it must have something to do with the amount of tannin in the leaves. This is always a fascination experience. I am wondering if there is enough fabric here to make a top
